"Hi! I’m Morgan, a tattooist with a mission:

I want you to feel safe, seen, and respected while getting your tattoo done. When I was an apprentice, I experienced firsthand the outdated, macho, queerphobic and intimidating nature of old-school tattoo culture: the idea that getting a tattoo is a trauma that must be endured for you to “earn” it. That you must face judgment and scorn for your reaction to the needle. That bodies belonging to the vulnerable will always feel unsafe at best in these spaces. Why does it need to be like this?

I believe that no-one should feel unsafe when getting a tattoo. While it’s impossible to eliminate all the pain from the experience, I can damn well end the culture of shame that parlors are known for, all while doing the best work you could ask for. Tattooing is a deeply personal experience, and it follows that both the work and the care you receive should be just as personal. That is who I am as an artist -

and I’m so excited to work with you!”
